Honest soldier

      Army Pfc Ramcy Ruado Jr. of 6th Division Artillery Regiment in Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao returned the wallet containing P70, 000 last Thursday to its rightful owner. Pfc Ruado was about to eat in a restaurant when he found the wallet under the table.

      The AFP is proud of Pfc Rudados honesty that he has demonstrated as a professional soldier. This attribute exemplify the true sense and value of the organization that each and every member has to be proud of. The AFP wishes to have more Pfc Ruados character.

      Many such honest deeds by our soldiers often went unnoticed, but its neither fame nor recognition alone that propels them to be trustworthy. It is the essence of being in the public service which motivates them to be role models.

      Hear Pfc Ruado when he said, If there is trust, there is respect and confidence. In the end, it is always beneficial to sacrifice and work hard to earn the respect and trust of others. That is a professional soldier speaking.
