BK 07 MEDICAL CIVIC ACTION CONTINUES
     
Republic of the Philippines – Members of the medical and dental team from the Army’s 6th Infantry Division tied up with the RP-US Balikatan 07 personnel during the conduct of the Medical Civic Action Program at Datu Luminog Mangelen Pilot Elementary School in Pob Buluan, Maguindanao on Feb 20.
     
The Medical Team under Major Domino R Suarez provided medical assistance to about six hundred seventy (670) residents of Buluan, Maguindanao. One hundred ten (110) individuals, mostly children were given free dental treatment; one hundred eighteen (118) go through precise eye check-up; sixty two (62) underwent circumcision; two hundred twelve (212) undertake medical consultations; while a total of sixty eight (68) household pets were provided veterinary services.
     
Indeed, the RP-US Balikatan 07 MEDCAP not only boost the moral and welfare of the residents of said area; it also reflects the virtue of caring, cooperation, and selfless service among the soldiers and the people for the attainment of the common good – that is peace and progress for all.
